As you arrive at Mumbai Airport, it's essential to keep some guidelines in mind for a smooth and hassle-free travel experience. The Arrival Guide is meant to make your journey more convenient.
- Follow the instructions laid down by airlines on disembarkation
- Wearing face masks is a must, and you can also wear gloves for extra protection
- Practice social distancing and COVID-appropriate behaviour at various touchpoints of your journey
- Sanitise or wash your hands frequently; sanitisers are placed at strategic locations throughout the airport, from the entry to boarding gates
- Upon arrival at your destination, please adhere to the health protocols as laid out by the destination state/UT
- Wait at the baggage hold area till the baggage arrives in batches; you are requested to follow the markings at the baggage belt
- Remember to follow the social distancing markings and signage at various processing points
- All the food & beverages counters are audited daily to ensure safety, hygiene and contactless interaction. We encourage you to use digital payment methods instead of cash
- The taxis at the airport are regularly sanitised, and all the outsourced drivers working with Mumbai Airport are double-vaccinated
Please note that app-based cab services like Ola/Uber and other taxis are under the purview of the state authorities/RTO. The rules may change from time to time.
Immigration
Upon your arrival at Mumbai Airport, keep all your documents like Passport, Visa, Boarding Pass, etc., ready before reaching the Immigration Hall. Please follow the Arrival signage and proceed towards the Immigration Hall for immigration clearance.

Yes, now all international arriving passengers can get their RT-PCR test for COVID-19 done at Terminal 2 Level P4, Ground Transportation Lobby (GTL), next to Niranta lounge.
.Below are the details:
- Test results will take up to 8 hours
- The report is sent via email
- Valid ID proof such as Aadhar Card and Passport is a must
- The amount charged for the test is INR 500 (as per the rate fixed by the Government)
- Payment via cash and digital mode is available
- Passengers who test negative will be allowed to continue their journey
- Rapid RT-PCR test is available at a charge of INR 1975 per test, and the results are provided in 1-2 hours
All passengers are requested to carry the Air Suvidha Self declaration acknowledgement to be presented upon arrival.
As per the state's requirement, passengers are requested to carry the Health Declaration Form , which must be presented to MCGM officers upon arrival. The passengers should carry this undertaking form along with Air Suvidha self-declaration.
Below criteria need to be met for passengers to be exempted from the mandatory negative RT-PCR test report –
- If you have been administered both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine
- 15 days have elapsed since the administration of the second dose
- You have the final vaccination certificate issued through the CoWIN portal
