About Behrampur Airport

Biju Patnaik International Airport, also known as Bhubaneswar Airport, is the primary airport that serves Bhubaneswar, Odisha's capital city. It is about 4 km southwest of Bhubaneswar Railway Station and 3 km from central Bhubaneswar. It is named after former Odisha Chief Minister Biju Patnaik, a famous aviator and freedom fighter. It is India's 15th-busiest airport and the 11th-busiest among the airports managed by the Airports Authority of India.

There are two terminals at the Biju Patnaik International Airport. Terminal 1 is a high-tech terminal that opened in March 2013, with a passenger capacity of 4 million per year. The new terminal is a two-storey structure that meets green construction requirements and has some of the most cutting-edge facilities for domestic arrivals and departures. Considering the state government's objective to connect Bhubaneswar to the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Terminal 2 was rebuilt to facilitate full-fledged international flight operations.
