Lilabari Airport (IATA: IXI) is a domestic airport serving two states, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. After persistent requests submitted by a local Member of Parliament (MP), Dr Ranee Narah, the Lilabari Airport project began. The airport was constructed in 2003, and Union Civil Aviation Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain inaugurated it. The airport is managed by the Airports Authority of India and has a single terminal. Facilities like free luggage trolleys, snacks and beverage counters, seating arrangements, drinking water, customer help, taxi service, information service, PCO (ISD/STD), and washrooms are available.
