Lengpui Airport (AJL) is a domestic airport located in Aizawl, Mizoram, India. The airport of Lengpui, Aizawl, is the only airport serving the state of Mizoram. The Lengpui Airport's 2,500 m runway is unique in its many hilly streams. The airport is 35 km northwest of the city centre. Lengpui Airport is the country's first large airport built by the State Government, in a record-breaking two years and two months. Aizawl Airport is approximately 30 km from the bus station, and tourists must hire private taxis or buses to travel to and from the airport.
