About Aizawl Airport

Jolly Grant Airport, also known as Dehradun Airport, is a domestic airport in Uttarakhand, India, approximately 22 km southeast of Dehradun. The terminal is located in the Himalayan ranges and was reopened for commercial operations on March 30, 2008. The terminal is positioned 20 km from Rishikesh and 30 km from Haridwar. It takes 20 minutes to reach Rishikesh and 45 minutes to reach Haridwar and Dehradun. During the 2013 Uttarakhand flooding, Jolly Grant Airport became the command centre for recovery operations.
