About Bhopal Airport

The Raja Bhoj International Airport is located in Gandhi Nagar, approximately 15 km from the city centre of Bhopal. The airport is named after the Paramara dynasty Maharaja Raja Bhoj. In 2011, a new integrated terminal was launched with world-class amenities for local and foreign tourists. Bhopal Airport was the first airport in the state to develop a 100-kilowatt solar power plant. The new integrated terminal at Bhopal airport accommodates both international and local flights. This terminal has around 14 check-in desks and 10 immigration stations to facilitate speedier passenger circulation. The airport has excellent road connections to both the bus and train stations. The Bhopal bus station is 13 km from the airport, while the city train station is 19 km away.
