About Bagdogra Airport

Bagdogra Airport (IATA Code: IXB) serves Bagdogra, Siliguri and its surrounding areas including other states in Northeastern India. The airport is located to the west of Siliguri. It is basically a customs airport which also operated as a civil enclave of the Indian Air Force. The airport is considered to be a gateway to all hill stations in Northwest India. Moreover, it is also well-connected to major Indian metropolises like Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru. Due to its widespread connectivity and heavy traffic, it is one of the busy airports in India.
