About Aurangabad Airport

Aurangabad Airport also called the Chikkalthana Airport (IATA: IXU), is a public airport in Aurangabad. The airport was renovated in the 1990s as part of a broader development project. A new taxiway, boundary wall construction, and other upgrades were made to the runway during the first phase, which was finished in 2005. The new integrated terminal building and technological complex were finished in the second phase in 2008.
