Tezpur Airport (IATA: TEZ) is a regional airport serving the town of Tezpur. Also referred to as Salonibari Airport, it is located in the outskirts of Tezpur, approximately 10 km from the city centre. The airport was built in 1942 as an airbase during the Second World War. At present, there is only one terminal at the airport that takes care of both arrivals and departures. Currently, very limited flights on a few selected dates are operating from Tezpur to Guwahati, North Lakhimpur, and Pasighat. Alliance Air is the only carrier flying out of the airport.
