Bhopal Airport, also known as the Raja Bhoj Airport (IATA code: BHO) is situated in Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal. It derives its name from Paramara Raja Bhoj, who ruled Bhopal in the 10th century. It is an international airport that has only one integrated terminal. The terminal building takes up over 26,000 sq m of area. Dehradun Airport is known as the Jolly Grant Airport (IATA code: DED) and it is the only commercial airport in Uttarakhand. Jolly Grant Airport is well connected to prominent cities in Uttarakhand such as Mussoorie, Haridwar and Rishikesh. The airport is about 25 km away from the centre of Dehradun city to the east.
