You can spend an entire afternoon in the Taj complex while enjoying the beauty of this mesmerising monument by strolling through the grounds. Agra has tropical and subtropical type climates. The best time for travelling to Agra is in winter, from October to February. During this time of year, the weather stays calm and pleasant, which is perfect for sightseeing.

Kangra-Gaggal Airport, officially known as Kangra Airport (IATA: DHM), is located at Gaggal, approximately 8 km from Kangra and 13 km from Dharamshala. The airportís foundation was laid by the former CM of Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh, in 1986. The airport, which covers 1,269 acres, is located at an elevation of 770 m and has one asphalt runway. It has one terminal that can handle around 100 passengers at a time. The services at the airport include advanced baggage services, ATMs, wheelchair assistance, an information desk, a lost and found desk, pharmacies, lost and found counters, and restrooms. Passengers can eat at eateries and cafes. There are shops for handicrafts and souvenirs. It is very well-connected to Dharamshala through private and state buses, cabs, and autos.

Dharamshala, a Himachal Pradesh town, is a popular destination for visitors to the state and surrounding areas. Dharamshala is in the Kangra district, situated on the Dhauladhar range in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is a well-known centre for Buddhist studies.
