Dehradun Airport (IATA: DED), also known as Jolly Grant Airport, is a domestic airport located 22 km southeast of the city, nestled in the Himalayan foothills. Dehradun Airport was built in 1974, and in February 2009, the new terminal building was inaugurated. Dibrugarh is located in a valley along the Brahmaputra River in the northeastern part of Assam. The city is an important commercial hub, a rail terminus, and a port. During ancient times, Dibrugarh was part of Dibarumukh, which was a well-known Ahom encampment during the Ahom Sutiya War.
