Shimla Airport (IATA: SLV, ICAO: VISM) is situated in Jabarhatti, which is about 22 km away from Shimla. The airport was constructed by levelling a mountain to form a single runway. It is a domestic airport with a single terminal. The domestic terminal manages up to 50 passengers at arrival and about 40 passengers at departure. Dibrugarh Airport is also called the Mohanbari Airport and is surrounded by beautiful and lush green tea estates. The Dibrugarh Airport is the only airport in northern Assam that provides service to the people of Dibrugarh and Arunachal Pradesh. The airport is spread over an area of about 386 acres. The airport offers facilities and services like wheelchair accessibility, medical aid, restrooms, lost and found services, special assistance to the disabled etc. The airport also offers the services of taxis and rental cars to the passengers. In 2009, a new terminal building was added to the airport, which can handle around 500 passengers at one time. Dibrugarh is situated on the banks of the river Brahmaputra in the northeastern state of Assam.
