The only civil airport in Nagaland, the Dimapur Airport (IATA: DMU) is located between the districts of Chumukedima and Dimapur and is 9 Km from the Dimapur city centre. The airport has a single domestic terminal with one boarding gate and can handle 500 departing and 300 arriving passengers at a time.
