About Bhubaneswar Airport

The main airport servicing Odisha's capital city of Bhubaneswar is the Biju Patnaik Airport, often known as Bhubaneswar Airport. It is located 4 kilometres south-west of Bhubaneswar railway station and 6 kilometres from the city centre. Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) is the 16th busiest airport in India and the 11th busiest among those operated by the Airports Authority of India. In Eastern India, Biju Patnaik Airport serves as an important civil aviation hub. The airport has two operational scheduled passenger terminals for internal and international travellers- Terminals 1 and 2. You can reach the airport by taking Bhubaneswar's bus service MoBus or a cab. On April 17, 1962, the first commercial airport in the state of Odisha was dedicated to the people of the state. Ajit Singh, the former Civil Aviation Minister, inaugurated Terminal 1 on March 5, 2013, which serves local passengers, while Terminal 2 was upgraded to handle international flights. The Indian government granted international airport recognition on October 30, 2013.

About Bhubaneswar

Located in the eastern state of Odisha (Orissa), the city of Bhubaneswar is also known as Bhuvaneshwari. It is located on the Kuakhai River, a tributary of the Mahanadi River delta, in the eastern section of the state. The neighbouring Dhauligiri rock edict of Mauryan emperor Ashoka, at the site of his legendary conquest of the Kalingas, represents Bhubaneswar's history dating back to the 3rd century BCE. Many Hindu dynasties had their regional headquarters here between the 5th and 10th century CE, and it became a shrine to the god Shiva during that time period. Between the 7th and 14th centuries, Orissa's temples (such as Mukteshwara and Parashurameshwar) saw a significant architectural evolution. You will find government offices, the state museum, Utkal University, and the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, which was established in 1944 in Bhubaneswar. Because of its location near both Kolkata and Chennai, as well as its proximity to both the South Eastern Railway and an airport, the city of Bhubaneswar is easily accessible. It also has a zoological and botanical park, as well as the ancient excavation site of Sisupalgarh, all inside the municipal limits.

About Goa Airport

There is only one airport in Goa - the Dabolim International Airport. The AAI runs it as a civilian enclave within the Indian Navy's INS Hansa naval airfield. It's around a 30-minute drive from Panjim to the airport in Dabolim, which is roughly a 4-kilometre drive from Vasco da Gama. You can get here by taking a cab or a bus. The airport only has one terminal which handles both domestic and international flights. Creative Group, an architectural firm located in India, designed it. More than 7.6 million passengers passed through the airport in 2017ñ2018, and 8.36 million will pass through it in fiscal year 2019ñ2020. Seasonal flights to Goa are available from a number of European charter airlines, usually from November to May. TUI Airways provides flights from the United Kingdom to the Caribbean. Charter flights are also available to a number of Russian cities. Mopa has been considered for a second airport due to capacity issues at the current airport and high levels of aviation traffic due to the military and naval presence in the area. It is currently being built and is expected to be completed in 2022.

About Goa

Goa is among the most popular tourist destinations in India. Panaji is the capital of the state of Goa. The states of Maharashtra and Karnataka share its western coast. With a 65-mile (105-km) Arabian Sea coastline, it encompasses the island of Goa. Until the late 15th century, the area was ruled by Hindu empires and Muslim sultanates, and was taken over by the Portuguese in 1510. Old Goa, where they established their colony, was designated as the nation's capital by the Portuguese. In 1947, India insisted that Portugal hand over Goa as part of its newly-gained independence. Goa was finally conquered by Indian forces in 1961 and became part of the Indian state of Goa, Daman, and Diu. Until 1987, Daman and Diu remained part of the Union Territory of India. There are a lot of people who visit Goa because of its unique architecture and beautiful beaches. At any given time of year, the average temperature in Goa is around 80 degrees Fahrenheit (30 degrees Celsius), with low temperatures ranging from 70 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius). Between June and September, a southwest monsoon blows. The majority of the state's yearly rainfall, around 115 inches (3,000 mm), falls during the monsoon season.
