About Rajahmundry Airport

Rajahmundry Airport serves the city of Rajahmundry in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The airport was built during the British era and spans 366 acres in total (148 ha). An MoU for 23 crore (US$3.6 million) was signed in February 2007 by the Andhra Pradesh Government and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the airport's modernisation. The terminal was officially opened on May 16, 2012, and offers all passenger amenities, like check-in counters, childcare rooms, wheelchair facilities, hotel counters, ATMs, and more.
