Surat International Airport (IATA: STV, ICAO: VASU) is a customs airport located in Magdalla, 12 km southwest of Surat. The airport is built over 292 hectares and offers a beautiful view of the Arabian Sea. The airport has a single terminal with an area of 6800 sq m divided into two floors. The ground floor of the terminal has facilities for check-ins, arrivals, departures, baggage claims, luggage trolleys, and medical services. The first floor has two aerobridges, shops, lounge areas, restaurants, and additional services like childcare, wheelchairs, and ATMs. The terminal can handle 240 passengers per hour in its arrival and departure lounges. Surat is one of Indiaís most prosperous cities, located on the banks of the Tapti River, near the Gulf of Khambhat, making Surat the westernmost city in India.
