Hubli Airport (IATA code: HBX) serves two cities, Hubli and Dharwad in the state of Karnataka. The airport is located 8 km to the west of Hubli city on Gokul Road . It spreads over an area of 369 acres. In 2013, the Karnataka Government initiated a project for the development of the airport and signed an MoU with the Airports Authority of India. The entire modernisation and expansion of the Hubli Airport was completed in 2018 . The airport has a single terminal for both arrivals and departures. It can handle a total of around 72 passengers . The Hubli Airport has one boarding gate, two check-in counters, and one security check counter . It also provides facilities to assist the elderly and differently-abled.
