About Jammu Airport

The Jammu Airport hosts only domestic flights. The Indian Airforce owns and maintains the Jammu Airport. Locally called the Satwari Airport, it is officially known as the Jammu Civil Enclave. This airport serves the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The India-Pakistan international border is about 14 km away from this airport. Unlike other airports, the Jammu airport is used for public as well as military purposes. There are two terminals in this airport. Terminal 1 handles domestic flights and is 14,500 sq. m long. This terminal has 14 check-in points as well as five gates. There are a few shops, restaurants and a souvenir shop in terminal 1. Terminal 2 is in its developmental stage and will soon be functional.
