Hubli Airport (IATA: HBX) is a domestic airport in Karnataka that serves the twin cities of Hubli and Dharwad. It is located about 8 km from Hubli and 20 km from Dharwad on Gokul Road. The airport has a 369-acre terminal, with a capacity to handle around 300 passengers (150 arrivals and 150 departures). The airport, which only operates domestic flights, features one security desk, two check-in counters, and a 1670-m-long runway. Currently, the major airlines operating here are IndiGo, which operates flights to Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumba,i and Mysore . The airport is connected to Hubli through cabs and bus services. There are air-conditioned bus services from the Hubli Railway Station to the airport, along with mini-bus services between the airport and Hubli Central Bus Terminal. The nearest railway station, Unkal Railway Station, is located around 6 km from the airport.

Bellary, or Ballari, is a city in the district known by the same name in Karnataka, located about 306 km away from the state capital, Bengaluru . It is known today as an industrial centre, particularly in the textile and mining industries, but it also has a storied past in history and mythology. Located amongst granite hills, the city has a generally warm climate. Summers are usually short and dry, while the winters are warm and long. The monsoon, from July to September, and the winter, from November to February, are the best times to visit Bellary when the weather is mild and pleasant. While the official language is Kannada, Urdu, and Telugu, other languages are also commonly used. Situated close to the borders of Andhra Pradesh, Bellary is common ground for people from both states, practising a hybrid culture consisting of dual traditions. It is a historic city with a great deal of cultural significance. Mythologically associated with the mythical kingdom Kishkinda from the Ramayana, the city was also prominent during the peak of the Vijayanagara Empire as a centre of trade and manufacturing. Several historical sites, including the Bellary Fort, are excellent locations to visit. Apart from these, less than two hours from Bellary is the famous UNESCO World Heritage Site and former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, Hampi, with its many spectacular forts, palaces, and temples.

As the only airport in Lakshadweep, the Agatti Aerodrome (IATA: AGX) is a gateway to the other islands of Lakshadweep. This airstrip, the only one in the archipelago, is located off India's west coast and it is operated by the Airports Authority of India. It has a 1,291-metre-long asphalt runway and a single passenger terminal. Apart from Air India's frequent flights between Agatti and Cochin, other destinations are reachable via connecting flights. This list includes Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhuj, Trivandrum, Bhubaneshwar and Vadodara. The airport is well equipped with x-ray baggage facilities to ensure the security of the travellers, as well as medical facilities and assistance. It also contains multiple snack and beverage bars for refreshment and idyllic views of the airport. It is a marvel in itself, with the runway seemingly stretching out into the ocean.

Agatti Island, which has one of the most beautiful lagoons in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, stands atop the Agatti atoll. Agatti Island also has an airport that functions as a gateway to other islands in Lakshadweep. It is well recognised for various cultural and traditional practices, a few of which are indigenous to the island's people, while the others are shared with those of Kerala. The climate of Agatti Island is similar to that of Kerala, wherein the period from March to May is the hottest, with temperatures ranging from 25? to 35?. The humidity ranges from 70 to 76 percent for the rest of the year. The crystal clear waters of Agatti Island are excellent for water-related adventure activities such as scuba diving and snorkelling, deep-sea fishing, glass-bottom boat rides, water skiing, and kayaking.
