Diu Airport (IATA: DIU) is a civilian aerodrome serving Diu and neighbouring areas. It is the only airport in the union territory that accommodates commercial operations. Flights from the airport mainly operate to Ahmedabad, Bhuj, and Mumbai. The airport is connected to other cities via indirect flights. The airport has two runways and one domestic terminal that can accommodate up to a maximum of 200 passengers. Other facilities at the Diu Airport include baggage services, basic medical facilities, and food shops. The airport is well connected via road and railway. There is a bus stand located around 8 km away from the airport which provides both public and private services. Airport taxis and rickshaws are also available for tourists' convenience.

Diu, also referred to as Diu Town, is located in the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on the western coast of India. Part of the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, many important trade routes of the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean passed through Diu. Though Gujarati is the official language, Diu is a multilingual town with languages such as Portuguese, English, and Hindi spoken regionally. The town is an island at sea level, covering an area of 38.8 sq. km, and has a hot, semi-arid climate, receiving an average rainfall of 560 mm between June and September. The town is traditionally recognised for its fusion of Gujarati and Saurashtra culture, and is an extension of the Kathiawad Cultural Zone. The flavour profile of the cuisine of Diu is greatly influenced by Gujarati cuisine and ecological characteristics of the region, and somewhat influenced by colonial-era Portuguese cuisine.

Agatti Aerodrome (IATA: AGX) is the only airport in Lakshadweep and functions as a gateway to the other islands of the archipelago. Situated off the west coast of India, it has a 1,204-metre-long asphalt runway and a single passenger terminal. Air India generally provides regular flights between Agatti and Kochi, but the aerodrome is connected to various other parts of India such as Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Bhuj, Chennai, Trivandrum, Mumbai, and Vadodara through indirect flights. The airport is well-equipped with X-ray baggage-monitoring facilities to ensure security of the travellers. If required, medical facilities and other assistance is provided as well. It also has snack and beverage bars for travellers. One can indulge in the idyllic views of the airport, which is a marvel in itself, with the runway seemingly stretching out into the ocean.

Situated on a coral atoll in the Union Territory of Lakshadweep, Agatti Island is home to one of the most beautiful lagoons in Lakshadweep. It is well known for its biodiversity and indigenous flora and fauna, which includes the multicoloured fish that inhabit its coral reef under the Arabian Sea. Agatti Island is particularly known for its white sand beaches and its Portuguese-inspired architecture. Agatti Island is often referred to as the ëthe fishing capitalí of Lakshadweep, and is known specifically for its fishing industry and the availability of fresh, surplus fish. Besides fishing, coir and dried coconut are among other key products from this island. It is also known for its eclectic seafood-based local cuisine that includes spicy fried coconut and squid, mas kavaab or boneless fish chunks, fish pakora, and maasu podichath or dried tuna among other delicacies (including vegetarian). While the official languages spoken in Lakshadweep are Malayalam and English, the most commonly spoken languages there are Jeseri and Dhivehi. Agatti Island also has an airport that functions as a gateway to other islands in the Lakshadweep archipelago. It is recognised for various cultural and traditional practices, a few of which are indigenous to the people of the island, while others are shared with those of Kerala. The climate of Agatti Island is similar to that of Kerala. Summers usually last from March to May, with temperatures ranging from 25∞C to 35∞C. The island receives an average of 1,600 mm of rainfall between May and September. The crystal-clear waters of Agatti Island are excellent for the entire spectrum of water-related adventure activities.
