The Kushok Bakula Rimpochhe Airport (IATA: IXL) is located in Leh. It is one of the world's highest airports, rising 3,256 m (10,682 ft) above mean sea level. Agatti Airport (IATA code: AGX), the only airport in the Lakshadweep Islands, is on the southernmost tip of Agatti Island, about 5 kilometres from the town. The airport is located in the Lakshadweep Union Territory (India). There is only one airline operating at this airport: Air India Regional. Every day, Air India operates an ATR 72600 between Kochi (COK) and Agatti (AGX). Agatti Airport is around a 90-minute flight away from Kochi International Airport. From Kochi International Airport, travellers can connect to numerous domestic and international destinations. The airport has a single terminal with one boarding gate at Agatti Airport, which serves only domestic scheduled flights. This terminal can hold 25 passengers for each departure and arrival.
