The Hubli Airport officially called Hubballi Airport, is one of the fastest-growing and the third busiest airport in Karnataka. Owned and operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Hubballi Airport is a domestic airport that serves Hubbali and Dharwad, which is popularly known as Hubli's twin city. It is located 8 Km from Hubli and 20 Km from Dharwad. Hubli Airport has one functional terminal known as the New Terminal. The Old Terminal, used earlier, was relatively small and has been turned into a cargo terminal.
