Veer Savarkar International Airport, also known as Port Blair Airport (IATA: IXZ), is situated 2 km south of Port Blair and is the main airport in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Airports Authority of India manages the airport. It is a civil airport and shares its facilities with the Indian Navy.The airport is set to add a new terminal building at the cost of Rs. 723 crores.
