About Varanasi Airport

Officially known as the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport (IATA code: VNS), the Varanasi Airport is located around 20 Km away from the city of Varanasi. The airport was renamed in 2005 as a tribute to the great freedom fighter and the second Prime Minister of India. The airport is situated in Uttar Pradesh and has become the second-busiest airport in the state and the 18th-busiest in the country. It has both domestic and international terminals.
