Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, also known as Guwahati International Airport (IATA code: GAU) is located at Borjhar, about 29 km from the city of Guwahati. Named after the first Chief Minister of Assam, Gopinath Bordoloi, it is the biggest and busiest international airport in northeast India. The airport offers both domestic and international flight services. The domestic services are run by various domestic airlines, including Air India and IndiGo. International flights are operated only from Guwahati to Bangkok and these are operated by Druk Air. Guwahati airport has two terminals.
