The Birsa Munda Airport or the Ranchi Airport (IXR) is a domestic airport, located in Hinoo, which is around 7 km from the city center. A domestic airport, it has been named after Birsa Munda, an Indian tribal freedom fighter. It has been ranked as the 27th busiest airport in India.
