The airport has two terminals, one of which is used for domestic flights and the other for seasonal chartered flights. It is well-connected domestically and operates a few international flights to Jeddah and Dubai.The airport offers a snack counter, a tourist information desk, and a gift shop that sells leather items and handicrafts. Retail outlets sell stationery, jewellery, and traditional apparel at the airport. The airport also has no shortage of facilities, with free inter-terminal shuttles, wheelchair services and the availability of ambulances and doctors. Since Srinagar is a sensitive region, there are many security personnel stationed throughout the airport.
