Its daily operations are managed by the Airports Authority of India, and it connects to several Indian cities such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gulbarga, Hubli, Belgaum, Mumbai, Pune, Vijayawada, etc. Primary airline carriers operating via the airport include SpiceJet, IndiGo, and Star Air. The airport got international status in 2015 but direct international flights are yet to be operated via the airport. Tirupati Airport has two terminals, the latest one being added recently, referred to as the Garuda Terminal, which has the capacity to accommodate 500 domestic and 200 international passengers. The airport is well-equipped with modern facilities and amenities that ensure the comfort of the passengers.
