Patna Airport (IATA Code: PAT), also called Jayaprakash Narayan Airport or Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Airport is named after the freedom fighter and political activist Jayaprakash Narayan. In June 2017, this airport received an ëinternational airportí tag. You can easily take a taxi, auto or bus from the city centre to the airport. The airport consists of two terminals, which can handle 500 domestic and 200 international arrivals and departures at a time. Its facilities include free baggage trolleys, wheelchair assistance for the physically challenged and senior citizens, and a few shops, eateries and a bar on the premises. Tirupati city is referred to as the Spiritual Capital of Andhra Pradesh.
