About Trichy Airport

The Tiruchirappalli International Airport (IATA code: TRZ) is located in Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu. It is located 5 km south of the city centre on National Highway 210, connecting Tiruchirapalli and Rameswaram. It is the third largest airport in the state and has two terminals, one being the Integrated International terminal used for both domestic and international flights and second being the old terminal now serving as the International Cargo Complex.The two-storey terminal has 20 check-in counters that can accommodate about 470 passengers at a time. Tiruchirapalli or Trichy is located along the banks of the Kaveri River and is the fourth largest city in Tamil Nadu.
