About Diu Airport

Diu Airport is a small airport in the Indian Union Territory of Daman and Diu. The airport is about 5 Km away from Diu city centre. It also serves other parts of Gujarat, such as Veraval and Jafrabad. It was built in 1954, when Diu was part of the Portuguese army and had its own airport. The Airport Authority of India is in charge of and runs the Diu Airport Authority. The airport has one domestic terminal that can hold 100 people in both the arrival and departure halls. Air India is the only airline that currently operates from here. Some of the facilities that you can use at the terminal are luggage trolleys, wheelchairs for people with disabilities, PCO/STD/ISD, medical and first aid rooms, tourist information stands, drinking water, restaurants, snack bars, and rest rooms.
