I had a 2 night stay at this beautiful hotel. It's situated right next to the Ganges, so really convenient to walk along the river and explore, and return to the hotel. All the staff were professional and friendly. The food in the restaurant was fabulous, and the buffet breakfast also. There you are greeted every time you walk by. The Gentleman who stands near the door always acknowledged and greeted me when I went by, and that was so kind. Hassan was so good at orientating me to the hotel. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Good Food, ambiance and in house service was good Boat service, associated taxi services not reliable. Not much of the support for any near by excursions. Looking into the kind of city Varanasi where local people are more depends on income from tourists, there were no genuine people support available for temple Darshan. There were no support from staff of hotel. At least this much expected from local hotel staff

Not worth the price, not even close. It should cost less than half. The staff was very helpful and friendly and responded well to our feedback, but for the price we paid, I expected MUCH more from the hotel itself. I understand that the hotel is on the Ganges, but this is the only selling point they have. It doesn’t justify 200-350$, and even less so in India, it’s basically an Indian average salary for every night. If you can find another decent hotel near the Ganges, get that and save hundreds of dollars a night, or just stay further away in a nicer hotel and get a quick rickshaw to the river.

I stayed in Amritara for 2 nights. I had a wonderful experience, the place is beautiful. The location is the best part of the hotel. If you book a room with them they give you a free evening boat ride to see the Ganga aarti. The cons are the food is nice but very expensive for the quantity that they give. They provide tea and water on the boat ride but the amount of time we wait before the aarti is way to much.. people who have motion sickness can feel dizzy and i felt pukish after a point of time beacuse of the stench. Since the haveli is exactly on the ghat they hotel sends a porter to collect your luggage from a certain point where the cars can't go. We were given a electric auto ride till the hotel. But what i dint like is they dint give us a auto ride on our way back.. but a beautiful experience the staff was great and courteous. I had a beautiful experience!

The location is excellent. However, (1) I paid Rs31,000 PER DAY for 11 days to 7th Jan 23. Yet, since last 4 days they have been selling the rooms for less than half! And I was told I had been given significant discount. (2) They said the hotel is non smoking. Yet the guest are allowed to smoke in all common areas and you get the smoke in your rooms! Last 3 mornings and nights have been very disturbing. If you are affected by cigaret smoke as I am, your stay will become miserable. (3) The place is not suitable for Senior citizens like us.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
