Excellent in every aspect.. the property is old..when i first entered the hotel in the reception I felt a little weary looking at the old world look of the guest room. But the rooms and other spaces of importance to guests are very well maintained.. rooms were spacious with necessary amenities and are very clean. There's a pool outside, which is a nice photo point too.. they've kept some old trees within the premises which gives it a more complete feeling. The restaurant is amazing place.. feels like a royal heritage space . We had morning breakfast buffet there which was great.. service was excellent . Mr Vijay at the counter is very courteous and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place!

We stayed at Hotel for 15 days. Location is great as it is very convenient to reach. Beach is just 10 minutes drive. Reception and Restaurant Staff were very polite and courteous and attended to our request within minutes . We had requested for packed breakfast since we had to leave early on a trip. They provided packed Sandwich and South Indian as we requested and tasted really awesome. Restaurant offers buffet breakfast with varieties of south Indian Food especially tea and coffee are above standard. Definitely worth for the price and highly recommend.

They gave me room for my family when Chennai was badly hit by rain & floods this month (Dec 2023). My mother was sick & admitted in BSS Hospital and we had to stay nearby. Thanks to the General Manager. He was kind enough to somehow accommodate us. He was certainly service minded. I was so busy I couldn't even ask for his good name! The F&B team in the restaurant were really kind. The location is perfect. This hotel has lots of trees & hence, the entire place is cool.

Hotel is bit old place still preserve it's former glory. You can see things looks pretty outdated. Staff is friendly and attentive and room is very spacious and cleanly. Bed was very comfortable and a/c was ok and hotel provide really good wifi. Breakfast buffet consisted with Indian and continental options and staff was very attentive at the restaurant. The hotel situated in a really busy junction and it is not very easy accessible to malls or shopping areas nor metro. Hotel has its own restaurant and room service but as a foreigner I wanted to try food from local restaurants but not many favourable options around the area.

Rude Staff. I had sent a query for room availability to this hotel. Someone from the hotel called back and asked what was the purpose of booking the room. When I checked if rooms are available, he says we are sold out but he needs to know the purpose of our visit since our address is a local address. So, people staying in suburbs of Chennai cannot book a room in the city and stay? We could have a thousand work in the city and we wouldn't want to travel up and down. If purpose of visit is a mandatory question, then include that in your reservation request form. Calling to ask the purpose of visit, just because I have a local address is rude and judgemental. Management, please teach your staff how to talk to a person in the first place. The tone he asked the question itself was angrying. He could have politely asked "Is your visit personal or business?" and it would have been better. I wonder how the rest of your service be if the reception staff are so arrogant, rude and judgemental.
