Arogyadham Wellness Retreat

We had two nights stay, prima facie hotel from outside would look like temple but once you get inside you will feel it's actually a hotel. Things I liked - Staff is very good and cooperative. Rooms are big. What I did not like - The way to hotel is very bad which I did read in couple of reviews, while you will head to this hotel, I am sure, someone from your family or you would regret on your booking desición. Breakfast isn't good at all, if you happen to pay 4-5,000 per night, you would expect good options for breakfast, you would not expect only parantha, bread, tea, further breakfast area is extremely small. If you have planned to park your car and desired to see the city on legs, you will have to walk a long distance to get on main road, again location of this hotel would disappoint you for sure. Parking is big issue here, better you hire a taxi from your origin and leave headache to taxi driver. If you love to open curtains of your room, better let them closed only, view from your rooms window will be adjoining building walls only.

Avoid going here at all costs Rooms were good. That's it. Everything else was a nightmare. Highly understaffed. Goof ups with meal orders. Room service keeps making mistakes and sending wrong things. It takes them 5 trips to get something right. Not a single apology or any empathy. Extremely rude staff at reception. They did not return my Adhaar card at check in and I too forgot to take it. Mistake from both ends. When I realised I had misplaced my Adhaar card and called them, they confirmed it is with them. And they tell me it is my mistake that I did not collect it. Agreed. But isn't it their mistake as well that they had it for 2 days and did not bother sending it to my room? Or give it to me at check out? On top of it, they tell me that lots of customers make the same mistake of not collecting Adhar card after checkin. Seriously? Isn't it also the responsibility of the staff to return it? They point blank refused to assist and send someone to return my Adhar card. I was only 1 hour away. I mentioned I will pay for it. But no, they refused and I had to do last minute running and paid an extortion amount to the taxi driver to go and collect it. Not a single thing went right during my 2 days stay over here. We go on holidays to destress. This stay added more stress for me. As mentioned earlier, I accept that it was my mistake as well to not collect the Adhar card. I forgot it at the reception. But what did the staff do after realising that a customer had forgotten the Adhar card at the reception? Nothing. I was there for 2 nights. All it needed was for someone to come to my room and give it to me. Or give it to me at check out. But according to them it is not their mistake at all and lots of their customers make the same mistake at their hotel! Save yourself the torture. Avoid this place. I have never had such a horrible experience in my 20 years of travels.
