Rooms look nice in pics shared on apps but staying wa not worth it. Rooms and bathroom all needed more cleaning. Food was uncooked and tasteless

We booked two rooms at this hotel through cleartrip after reading a lot of good reviews on the site and also on Google. However, the experience we had during our stay was far from what was written in the reviews. To begin with, we had called up the hotel 2 days prior to confir our stay and the arrival time for which the receptionist/ manager could not find our booking and said he'll call back to confirm. Even after a few couple of hours, when they did not bother to revert, we had to call them back, to which they informed that the booking is confirmed. Since the property had a pool, we enquired about the availability and the timings. The manager informed that it is under renovation and will take a minimum of 2 weeks for it to re-open. On our second day of arrival, one of our room's AC had some issues, and it started dripping water. We informed the receptionist about the issue to which no action was taken. Very limited meal options for vegetarians and the complimentary breakfast was also not that great with the same menu every single day. The room service was pathetic. Took 2 hours to deliver our dinner. The response to any issue faced was slow, and it took them a long time to fix it. The location of the hotel was not convenient either. It was far from the city centre and the only option for transportation was through the hotel's taxi service or Ola/Uber. Overall, we were disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The good reviews we read online did not reflect the reality of our experience. We would not recommend it to others.
