        My experience was very bad. The bedsheets in the room were dirty, even after complaining the staff did not change them. There was a very bad smell coming from the blankets. There was fungus on the curtains. We booked 3 rooms, they told us that the hotel is newly renovated but the tiles were broken and not even a single flush was working and the geyser was also not working. And on top of all of this the staff was drunk and was shouting

        Check in hotel on 12/11/23 There is no hot water despite of 15°c temperature. The hotel room was smelly. The bedsheets and bed are also smelly and in very bad condition. The staff was very rude, drinking on common passage outside their office in night. The curtains of windows are fungus . The hotel is very expensive as compared to other nearby neat and clean hotels. I am fully disappointed with stay.

        This is a scam. there is no Hotel named Goromgo Lake view hotel. the hotel name is Lake View Hotel. We booked through agoda before reaching there we called the hotel contact no provided by Agoda and they confirmed everything was fine. On reaching there we were told the hotel booking is changed now and we were taken to Chinar Guest house which is more higher and given option of room with no windows, cigrate butts lying around and soiled sheets, soiled toilet. no hot water. we were in different city and did not have any option now. the scammer was good at heart he explained to me how this scam works. there is company named Garch who takes bookings from Agoda. they have a call center in Bihar. After any customer confirms the booking it is then transferred to Nainital scam center. they have a cluster of 12-20 hotels where they will upto the family at a markup of atleast 60%. As usual AGODA Customer care is nowhere to be found and the Bihar Call center starts cutting your call once you reach. there was also a couple who reached late evening and the scammer could not arrange a room for them and they spent the night in hotel lobby sleeping in the corner. Hope Agoda or local police do something about it.

        Worst Experience. They don't give you rooms like shown in the pictures while booking , TV not working, shower not working , bedsheets are not clean. Location wise it's a good place to stay .... You can watch the lake view from the balcony.
