Spent a day at Anand Krishna Van Hotel. The room, priced at 2800 rupees (including taxes), seemed a bit steep considering the facilities. Disappointingly, hot water didn't flow from taps despite the presence of a geyser. Room service was sluggish, necessitating repeated calls to the reception. The TV was non-operational, and caution is advised about rooms on the 3rd floor due to frequent monkey visits. Receptionist service was somewhat lacking in courtesy, though not explicitly rude.

POOR GUEST HANDLING: The front desk people quote a rate for booking and assure that room will be on hold when the guest arrives at the lobby and will make the payment. The female receptionist whom I had discussion with straightly asks for booking online and refuses to book for walk in guests just because of the rate difference between offline and online rates. The kind of experience is not suitable when especially there are 2 ladies and a child waiting for almost 2 hours in the lobby. Dated: 25th Nov 2023

two stars only for the location as it is on Parikarma marg and the only reason I booked a room was Shri Premanand g as he crosses from the road where this hotel is situated .. rest of the things are below average. Hotel has no parking, rooms are below average, first u have to pay first then u r being welcomed .. we had to extend the room for one more day and door card to open the lock of room door stopped working and could not open our room lock coz we did not pay the next day tariff in advance..poor hospitality .. it is Dharamshala which has been converted to hotel. Cleanliness was below average .. food was also below average … overall it is only location which is saving this property otherwise it is not recommended.. guys think before u book..
