I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Godwin in New Delhi's bustling Paharganj neighborhood, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hotel's strategic location, just a stone's throw away from the railway station, made it incredibly convenient for me to navigate the city. The rooms were nothing short of fantastic, offering a perfect blend of comfort and modern amenities. What truly set this hotel apart was its exceptional hospitality; the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my every need was met, making me feel right at home. The icing on the cake was the delectable food served at the hotel's restaurant. The variety and quality of dishes were outstanding, providing a delightful culinary experience. Visited at the peak of winter. Room is heated, water in shower is hot and pressure good. Has a bar fridge. Beds are good size and mattress comfortable. No external window in room. Staff are very obliging, attentive and friendly especially Mr. Haseeb, the receptionist. The Travel Desk manager, Ajay Sharma will do his best to sell you his services but most of his information is not true. He suggested a petrol car (more expensive) against a CNG car stating that the CNG car has a speed governor set at 75 kms and therefore travels slower. Not applicable because speed limit on the highway is 75 kmph so doesn't make a difference. He also stated that he would provide an English speaking driver with a thorough knowledge of Rajasthan our next touring destination, both false. He also took the entire rental charge up front which left us with no bargaining power and we had to accept everything without protesting. He was the only bad experience.

I have been coming to this hotel since 2016. For me it is perfect, its location is very good. The staff is very friendly, respectful and willing to do everything.The rooms were comfortable and clean, the hot water was spectacular. The facilities and breakfast were very good and complete. Mr. Naveen is very kind he is always laughing and if I have a problem I love coming to this hotel after so many years I feel at home.
