Hotel Purnima Kasol

Great hotel! Clean and comfortable room. The staff were great, very friendly and looked after us so well. And whoever the chef is knows how to cook some seriously good food. Great stay, can’t fault it. Thanks guys!

It was the most disgusting stay of my 9 days Himachal Trip. We stayed here for 1 night. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here. We booked 3 standard rooms. The property is fine but what pulls down the stay experience is its non-maintenance and poor staff service. It was chilling cold weather and we requested for heaters. They arranged 1 for each room and charged Rs. 300/- for each. The Heaters there are very old and not suitable to heat the room. It can heat barely upto half a feet of distance area from the heater, hence useless. The rooms are not well maintained. There's dust everywhere in the room, including on the kettle. We checked in late at night. Even after getting sufficient time to clean up the rooms, they were not cleaned properly. There were used coffee and milk power pouches with the kettle. Tea Cup was missing. All the utilities including bathroom taps, door knobs, etc are very old. The beadsheets, blankets and towels seemed used and unwashed. Only 1 electric socket was working in each room, that too was used for heater. Hot water facility is there, room size, beds and mattress are fine but everything is so dusty, stincky and unkept that it ruins the entire stay experience. Since there heater was not doing the job, we also checked for an AC Room so that atleast the room temperature can be balanced, but they don't have any. All rooms are non AC. The windows and doors are such that you can clearly hear all the noise from the neibouring property. People were drinking and smoking in the nearby property and we could smell it in our rooms. All rooms were stincking from smoke so badly that it felt someone is smoking right inside the room. Maybe someone before we checked in used cigarettes but the rooms weren't cleaned properly. All in all, it was a very bad experience to stay at Hotel Purnima. It is definitely not for family or couple stay. The atmosphere and service is pathetic. The Hotel requires Maintenance. It is owned by West Western. We also stayed in their other property in Manali - The Hill River Resort for 2 days, which was very nice and pleasant; a 5 on 5 property. But this property at Kasol was not worth paying for even for a night.
