Accomodation: Very poor, the bathroom especially was horrible and there was no geysar in there. Dust filled stiff blankets, felt like they haven't been washed in a while. Accessibility: You have to walk about 400m with your bags and luggage because you cannot take any engine based vehicle there. A vehicle can drop you off at the check post, some 200m from the Eastern gate of the Taj Mahal, and you have to walk the rest of the way there. Location: If you are backpacking or travelling light and your primary purpose there is to visit the Taj Mahal, it's the best place you can stay! The ticket counter is 120m and the east entrance is 200m for the hotel. Be sure to look around and find the best deal you can find for this place. You wouldn't feel like you're getting your money's worth so best spend as little as you can here.

I have worst experience first time in my life in touring in this hotel. Small rooms. Dirty blankets, mosquitoes all over in rooms, cokrochs i had also see, furniture is too old. No hot water available in washrooms. Flush was not working. Food was not tasty and too expensive. I had cancel my booking at mid night for next day.

Hotel Sheela is a fine place if you are there to visit the Taj Mahal. It is about 200-300 metres away from the east gate of the Taj Mahal. The Good: - Well, the location of this hotel is a standout above anything else. The Taj Mahal is at a walkable distance from this hotel. - The entire structure of the hotel is highly inspired from nature. There is a garden at the entrance which looks even better at night. And there are several plants and flowers across the entire hotel. - The rooms are comparatively smaller but comfortable enough. - As the entire hotel is set on the ground floor, old people or specially able people or people with knee issues would find the place convenient. The Bad: - Service is terrible at the hotel. They are way too laid back with literally everything. - The restaurant within the hotel serves fresh food but they'd take literally more than an hour to prepare it. One would rather place the order and go for a good long walk around the place. - Due to the garden area and a lot of plants within the premises, a lot of bugs and insects you might find in your room. Which sometimes feels dangerous as well. Conclusion: Hotel Sheela is a fine place if you want to stay literally next to the Taj Mahal. However there are certain drawbacks with their service and obviously no parking zone placement. But overall if you are only there to visit the Taj Mahal, then it is simply the best hotel to be in.
