Really nice place to stay. Next to river Ganga. Staff so kind which I didn’t expect. The only problem, it is on the other side of Laxman jhula hence in case if you are travelling by your own car, you may not get parking as roads are narrow. My experience was really good and would recommend stay here.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Shiva Yog Sthal in Rishikesh, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner Narendra and a seamless check-in process. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the comfortable rooms with a charming balcony. We highly recommend requesting a mountain view room, as waking up to the breathtaking scenery each morning was a true delight. The accommodations were on par with those of a top-class hotel, boasting modern amenities and a serene atmosphere that made our stay truly memorable. What truly set Hotel Shiva Yog Sthal apart was the outstanding service we received. The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that every need was met promptly and with a genuine smile. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly made our stay feel like a personalised and luxurious experience. The hotel's prime location was another major plus. Being within walking distance to landmarks such as Laxman Jhoola, numerous cafes, restaurants, and the bustling bazaar made exploring the vibrant surroundings convenient and enjoyable. In conclusion, our stay at Hotel Shiva Yog Sthal exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is close to the main road, and close to Lakshman Jhulla. The staff is nice, the owner is there to welcome you. Which says a lot. However the moment I entered the hotel the Manager kept selling me services, which was odd since I just had a long flight trip. And when I refused he become very hostile up to moment I wanted leave the hotel. The rooms on my side had a balcony which I was not able to use, because it was literary full of dog feces. The smell was unbearable, which is a shame because I chose this hotel for the balcony… Don’t use their services through. The services quoted by the manager; Taxi/ Laundry were 3 to 4 times more expensive than elsewhere. A healthy margin is ok. But being charged 3 / 4 times more then usual has nothing to do with hospitality. The hotel can’t be reached by a car so don’t bring too much luggage, it is a long way going up. Overall, nice staff but will al the negatives not worth the money. There are way better options for your money.
