India hotel is one of the oldest properties in Nainital mall road. The location is good, and so is the food and staff. However, I visited in November first week and it was pretty cold. The rooms are airy and chilly air was passing through roof and windows all night. There is no geyser, hot water supply is for limited time. In such winters, they don't keep heaters in rooms, heaters are in ₹500 charge, which I found to be very absurd. Rest, staff is very friendly and helpful. Room service is good.
