There are equal pros and cons. Let me list the pros first:- Pros:- 1. Value for money - for a spacious beach view room in Pondicherry which could be booked at short notice. 2. Spacious room with appropriate amenities. They had taken care of even minor stuff like room freshener, door mat at the threshold of bathroom( this is one stuff missing even in luxury resorts at Muscat), aesthetic appeal.... 3. Had a great feeling of being welcomed 4. Nominal scooty rental without security deposit ( Wow!!!) 5. Could view the lashing of waves on the rocks and the morning sunrise!!! Thrilling! It first felt like it was the best decision we ever made considering the perfect location of the property- which was bang on the beach! But wait for something more Cons:- 1. We had tried reaching out( calling )the property prior to our arrival 12 times. No one answered. So we had to contact Agoda customer care ( in Hongkong and the customer care person's English accent was far from understanding) after managing to convey our concern in the second attempt, he spoke to the property's owner and then we could confirm our room( Not a great experience) 2. Exactly at 12 am ( we were in deep sleep) there was a very loud conversation and some one was singing right outside our door in the worst cacophonic voice possible using a mike and a loud speaker. And 2 strangers were drinking alcohol and eating- leaning against our room wall, outside- talking loudly. Being disturbed from sleep, when we went to the reception, we were shocked to find there was no security or reception people. So we had to deal with this situation ourselves and had to tell them to stop this so that we could try and get some sleep. Luckily the singer stopped his so called singing for the night but continued in the morning from 8 am to 10.30 am ( in a horrible voice that too all 80s love failure songs). Felt like crying and laughing at the same time considering the weirdly ridiculous situation 😅 3. Third issue is there was no security person deployed at the property! Please beware of this risk! 4. We were assured that breakfast would be served at 9 am( which itself is late) but was provided with breakfast at 10.10 am. Not even beverages were provided till then. ( So incase you are planning to stay please carry tea/ coffee packets, milk powder and sugar to appease your morning hunger pang if you are an early riser) These things were not provided in the room. Though there was an electric kettle. 4. TV wasn't working. When we told the rarely to be found receptionist, he said he will send some one by that time we checked out . No one came to trouble shoot the tv for 5 hours.( We didn't spend much time in the room so it was okay for us) So that's it folks!!! 2.7/ 5 - the rating for our experience!

Good things about this property: 1. It is located right in front of the ocean. 2. Rooms were clean specially bcz of my bad past experiences, I found the rooms very clean. 3. The view is damm good. Only because of the amazing view, we were happy for our stay. 4. Washrooms were clean Bad things: 1. This property doesn't have a private beach access bcz there are rocks in from of the property. You have to walk to nearby beach which will take 3-5 mins. 2. There is no sink in the washroom which we find very strange. 3. There is no restaurant. Even if you ask for coffee and tea, the staff has to get it from somewhere else. 4. Price is higher. We went in the peak season so i understand why the prices were high. But still we found the price a lit high. 5. Locality is bad. When you will enter in that area, all you can see are small houses and local people and the fishermen. 6. There is no good restaurant within 5km of your radius. But swiggy and zomato are available there. Overall, the property was clean but has a bad locality . For us, the view was worth it so we liked our stay.

They promised to give some other room but eventually it was getting renovated. AC was not working properly. Due to cyclone alert they asked us to leave one day prior but did not discount any amount at all for the problems caused. Cat was there whole time in the balcony ate our food as well.Bed was broken not at all comfortable neither clean.

This is some sad, devastating and lonely place. It gives you so many bad vibes just like that. I have booked a room for two days and left within a day and I didn't even feel like asking for a refund. Leaving that place is all I wanted. I wonder how can everything be bad about a place. I am just listing some of the reasons why you should not consider this place. 1. The beach in front is not clean. 2. In the room, they did not even provide towels, soaps, shampoo, any amenities. 3. One of the saddest breakfast they have provided as complimentary, you would rather starve. Don't even ask about the coffee(the worst). 4. Paid 6000/- + taxes for nothing. 5. Surrounding 4 kilometres is a village, where can find nothing. Not even a good road. 5. The city centre is not that hot, but I don't know the reason why this place has such scorching heat. The place was suffocating to the core. 6. Ultimately, the stairs in this place, there are so small, you can't even place your entire feet on a single step. You have to climb the stairs using your toes. It is apt to call it a ladder than a staircase. This is not the pondicherry you want to see. I can never forgive myself for choosing this place, spending so much money, energy, time and peace. Nothing about this place written in make my trip is true except for the bad reviews.

I don't recommend this place for family....we reached Friday eve there ...it's incide fisherman's locality.... not maintained properly.....no basic facilities were available.....no washbasin in ground floor room washroom.....firstly the no given in website does not picks up the call ...after so many trials a lady ( owner of the property) picked up ...she is very soft spoken and generous lady.... When we reached we saw few people were taking drinks sitting on the rockpatch

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
