We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights. Our original room was up four flights of stairs, but when I explained my knee was injured and asked for a room downstairs, one was available the next day. The room we stayed in was gorgeous. Spacious and best of all on the same level as the restaurant and only a few steps down to the entrance. The hotel is in the White Town part of Pondicherry, it was easy to get around the town, walking and via auto rickshaws. The food we had was delicious, and the staff were lovely. There was often a bit of wait time for our meals especially over the festival days around Pongal. However, the housekeeping lady, Padmini was very efficient and the waitstaff at breakfast and in the restaurant went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful stay. A special mention must be made of Aishwarya, who made the effort of dressing in a traditional sari on the last Pongal night. She looked stunning, thank you for this extra effort, I know it must have made waiting tables more difficult. 🙏

Service was terrible, with everything served extremely late. They shouldn’t serve north indian food as they definitely don’t have cooks who know how to make it. Everything was too sweet. The rotis were half cooked, and there were 10min gaps between each roti they served.

Worst service ever Had to wait so much time and there was no proper response. We ordered for 1 extra roti for that we had to wait 15 min by that time curry was totally cold. And when we requested for reheating, there was no proper response. Also after we finished one portion no one bothered to take out finished plates. I would say its an overpriced, badly serviced, limited menu restaurant.

Been here for just lunch, though the food was good, they are using a credit card machine which is classified as rental payment. The bank is charging another 1% due to this in the statement. I do not expect such an action from a prominent place like this.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
