We checked in at 12.30 am and the process was smooth. The  property is located on Chakratirtha Road overlooking Golden Beach. We  booked a Deluxe Room on 1st floor (Room 205). Let us now move to the review of facilities and my experience. ( Rating have been assigned in a Scale of 1 to 5 , 5 being highest):- A. Location : Located on Chakratirtha Road Road overlooking  Golden Beach. (Rating 4.5). B. Room :  We booked our room through Booking App , almost 3 months in advance and paid Rs 30000 for 3 nights with Breakfast. Being a  upscale property, this is pricey. The room was of good size ,  about 350 square feet. You can have a clear look of thd sea from the large glass window of the room. Room was elegantly furnished with modern fittings, has a large double bed ( 70 inch) with side tables on both sides, a wardrobe, a writing desk . Bed was rightly soft, comfy with matching linens. However I missed bedside reading lamp on the side table. The ceiling light to be used for reading disturbs the other room mate, if he or she is not a late night reader. The  room was sparkling clean and have amenities like tea making facility, a separate sitting area with sofa, fridge etc . The room had a  air purifier as well, which is not very common in Indisn 5 star hotels also. Bathrooms was of modest size  and with seperate shower enclosure and western toilet system. Toilet is fitted with sanitary fitings of acceptable quality. Toileteries like shampoo and body lotion were provided. Quality of toileteries are of acceptable quality. Room is bright, well lit and had good air conditioning system. Pillows and quilt provided are very good. Additional pillows and blankets are provided. Free interest available with descent speed. However, the toilet fittings looks dated and needs an immediate make over. Towels look over used and needs to  replaced forthwith. Complementary cold drinks and snacks are provided .(Rating 4) C. Facilities : The resort had all facilities that you require for a relaxed holiday on the sea.   Outdoor design  of the property ,  the staired  pathways  to the reception are well matched to the theme. There is a large reception area,  indoor games, children's playing room, bar, soa etc. The travel desk take care of all your travel needs. The hotel boasts of a private beach with sitting faciliteis and hrlp. (Rating 4.5) D. Dining options: The hotel had two restaurants. 2 states serves authentic Bengali and Oriya cuisine. Verandah offers choice of Indian and International cuisines. They hsve z well stocked bar to relax with limited cocktail snacks. However, for breakfast the residents need to go to the dining hall of their sister property, Mayfair Waves , located just oppositeof the property. The breakfast spread is elsborate and excellent (Rating 4.75). E. Overall service : The hotel appoints a team of trained, well behaved , helpful staffs. All requests were met immediately with a smile. The team of staffs are very cortiuous and always available to give best service to the guests with a smile. In our room , we got really great service from Bibhu, who provided personalized service with a smile. (Rating 4.75) F. What more may be done: Strictly speaking, a veteran International traveler like me would like to suggest following improvements:- 1. The toilet needs immediate renovation. Everything looks dated including sanitaywares, fittings etc. This gives an impression of overuse and not changed for long; 2. The towels looks overused and must be replaced forthwith; 3. Bedside reading lamp on the side table to be provided. The ceiling light to be used for reading disturbs the other room mate, if he or she is not a late night reader; 4. Split AC needs a change, it made lot of sound; 5. TV in the room needs to be replaced with smart TV. 6. For aged and people with knee problem, you

Giving 4 stars. The room and bathroom were clean, the hotel staff were accommodating, and the hotel's location was convenient. However, there were mosquitoes in the room, and even the mosquito repellent provided by the hotel did not work, leading to a disrupted night's sleep.
