We stayed 2 nights here , caretaker of the houseboat was very humble and hard working, he took care of all the needs and special requests ,food was really simple and awesome feels like home cooked food. Rooms were clean and everything was perfect. Hosts also come and check with each guests and take feedback’s individually. Overall awesome place to stay. Attaching few photos

Had the best time at Monarch group of houseboat during our stay at Srinagar. The houseboat is not only super pretty and artistically designed, it is also equipped with all the amenities that made our stay comfortable during winters. Javed was the best host that added to all the fun! Would recommend this 100%

Beautiful houseboat with intricate decor. Boat has a breathtaking view of the lake. The service is excellent. Dinner with mutton seekh kabab was awesome. Breakfast was great. Javed bhai, the housekeeper is super helpful and friendly, was prompt at everything we needed. Best experience 💯 Highly recommend to everyone.

We stayed at Monarch Houseboat during the Christmas holidays. The Houseboat is situated on Nigeen Lake and is accessible by both road and Shikara. The distance from Srinagar airport is about 17 km. It has got a big porch, living room, dining room and four rooms that can accommodate 3 persons each. Ideal for solo travellers, family or group booking. The houseboat is well kept, maintained and has all the amenities like any good hotel in the city. The surrounding of the houseboat is serene and safe. You can enjoy the calmness & beauty of the lake with a cup of hot tea or kahwa. The owner of the houseboat Mr.Ajaz is very cordial and helpful. We had requested him to arrange a taxi for local sightseeing. He not only arranged for the cab but also helped in planning our itinerary. He used to meet us every evening to enquire about our comfort during the stay in houseboat. Would also mention Mr.Irfan (caretaker of the houseboat) who cooked delicious food and provided great service. Monarch Houseboat stay during a visit to Srinagar is highly recommended because of the surrounding beauty, upkeep and hospitality of Mr.Ajaz and support staff.

Staying in Monarch Houseboat was the best decision i made in Kashmir. Uncle Jaan and his son Aijaz are super hospitable and welcoming. They make your stay better by helping you with anything required, be it clothes shopping or saffron shopping or shikara rides or anything at all. They help you bargain with the local vendors. Food served at the houseboat is outstandingly delicious. We were served Gushtaba, Kebab and Rista(local cuisines) for dinner and local bread Lavash for breakfast. Something very unique that i had never tried before. Rooms are exceptionally clean and hygienic. Tea/coffee is served throughout whenever you ask for it. I definitely recommend everyone to stay here when you are in Kashmir without an ounce of doubt.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. We will forward these requests to the hotel; however, please note that the hotel may or may not be able to accommodate them depending on availability at the time of check-in. Please be aware that fulfilling these requests may result in additional charges.

The hotel reserves the right of admission. The hotel may refuse to honour the booking if it determines that the property policies have been violated.

If the booking cannot be confirmed due to certain circumstances, Adani One will refund the entire amount to the original mode of payment.

If the hotel is unable to confirm or deny the booking, Adani One is not under any obligation to provide an alternate booking in lieu of the unconfirmed booking.

Adani One does not collect GSTIN details on behalf of the hotelier, you may request this information directly from the hotelier during the check-in process.

Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Special discounted rates provided by the hotel are non-refundable. In case of cancelling any such booking, user will not get any refund in return.

Refund amount may take 10 working days to process to the respective account from which the payment was made during the booking.

Please be informed that your bank may debit its own separate charges from refunds made to your credit card or bank account.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
