The overall stay was good. Food was like home cooked and no complaints about that. The owner stayed in the house boat itself along with the caretaker and was helpful. However, we had a terrible night though opted for heater (additional cost). The heater was not of much help and i would say we survived with the hot-water bag which was provided by the owner. Please get the heater fixed asap without which it won’t be pleasant stay.

Location - Good location compared to houseboats in Dal Lake Room - Good specious room with private balcony (not available in any other houseboats). Only 1 room have balcony. Owner - he is a good man and connected every time. Food - For food it needs to inform in advance as they don't have proper kitchen. Additional charge for room heater in room. Overall value for money (3.5K per night).

Hey, it’s a wonderful & mind blowing experience here in New Buckingham Palace Group of Houseboats. We booked the Royal Suit with Private Balcony. What a view ! 😘 Mr. Captain Hamidbhai welcomed us with lot of gratitude. The interior & location has its own beauty. Heater & hot water supplies are nice. Captain’s assistant Mr. Wajid take good care during our stay. He took us nearby 5 mins walking distance restaurant Turfah Bakery & Restaurant. Great food & ambiance. 👍🏻 We’ll sure choose this property whenever come to Kashmir next time.🤗 The last sentence “So beautiful, so elegant, just looking like a wow !”😍

Captain Mr. Hameed is most welcoming. Arranged everything for us starting from the Srinagar airport pickup to drop. Hameed, Kalid and Ajaz are just a call away for anything we wanted during our stay in houseboat. Room - House boat interiors are well crafted. Location is extremely beautiful overlooking nigeen lake. Room balcony is wonderful to watch sunset.

Location is good. Room is very spacious with a beautiful view along with private balcony. Captain and Mr. Wajid took very good care of us. It's a very wonderful experience at New Buckingham palace Houseboat.

Booking Policy

It is mandatory for all guests to present valid government photo ID’s at the time of check-in.

The primary guests check-in into the hotel must meet the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Extra guests are subject to availability. And it might incur additional charges.

If guests are traveling with a child or children, it is necessary to specify the number of children accompanying them during the hotel booking process to avoid any last-minute complications.

Underage guests are only allowed to check-in with at least one parent or official guardian who fulfils the age requirements set by either the local government or the hotel’s policies.

Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services.

The price paid to Adani One includes room charges, taxes, the specified inclusions mentioned during the booking and convenience fee, if appliable. It does not cover additional services and expenses at the hotel.

Taxes, levies, charges, and any similar government fees, if applicable, will be imposed by the relevant authorities in the jurisdiction where the hotel is located. The guest is responsible for paying all such charges, as applicable.

Guests are required to adhere to any special instructions provided by the hotel. Failure to comply may result in the hotel's right to deny the booking or terminate the stay immediately.

For any special requests, please write in the designated section while booking on the Adani One platform. Hotel Cancellation Policy

User can cancel their booking through the Adani One website or app until the check-in date and time. The refund for such cancellations will be subject to the hotel's cancellation policy. Adani One has no say over the refund amount.

Users can only cancel the entire booking. Partial cancellations, such as canceling specific room(s), a portion of the total nights, or specific guests out of the entire group, are not permitted.

User should not cancel the booking directly with the hotel. If a user cancels the booking directly with the hotel, Adani One will not be responsible for any refund.

Cancellation requests made through the online platform or via phone calls are the only valid and accepted methods.

Any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel will not be the responsibility of Adani One.

If you fail to cancel your reservation within the designated cancellation period, as specified by the hotel you booked, you will be responsible for paying the applicable nightly rates, tax recovery charges, and service fees imposed by the hotel. If you do not show up for the first night of your reservation but still plan to check in for the remaining nights, you must inform Adani One of any changes to your reservation no later than the scheduled arrival date for the first night. This is necessary to prevent the cancellation of your entire reservation.

In case of no show at the hotel, you'll be charged the entire booking amount.

Modification and Reschedule Policy

Once the booking is initiated, the user can’t change the name of primary guest, number of guests, age of child/children, number of rooms, and check-in/check-out date and time.

After the booking is confirmed, user will need to cancel their existing booking to create a new one to make any changes such as updating the primary guest, modifying the number of guests, specifying the age of child/children, adjusting the number of rooms, or changing the check-in/check-out date and time etc.
