Rooms are good and the service is definitely better for the family crowd. Pool is very good. Clean and water is very neat and doesn't hurt the eye. Good depth for seasoned swimmers Food takes time to get prepared but once you get it is really good and yum Rooms can have phones to connect to room service. That's one worrying factor But the manager always picks up and solves the query for you To and fro the rooms is via boat (free of cost) needs to be arranged way early or delay can be expected

Why one should go for phoenix island resort in Poovar ...? 1. No where , we will get a deluxe A/C room in a "Day out" package. 2. Good ambiance , peaceful atmosphere. 3. Obedient, Excellent service by manager. 4. Excellent Kerala style food. Quality and quantity. 5. Free boating which includes in "Day out package" which cannot get anywhere in Poovar. Undoubtedly best place for perfect Day out. "*Full money is justified*" So so happy.

Worst Resort ever. They won't clean the rooms and bed and pillows. Room service was very bad. Room boys are from North india they don't respond to us. They Won't provide a towel, water bottle or anything. Rude behaviour. The manager Abilesh is like not educated in hotel management. He won't manage anything there. Also his behavior is rude. Bad cleanliness environment. Food is the worst thing here. You can't find any hotels to eat nearby. So we have to eat at this resort. The price of the food is like star hotel but they provide worse food than the road side hotel. Example I order Chicken 65 it cost Rs. 280 but they gave me cold chicken 65 and it was hard and tasteless. I asked the manager about this but he didn't care about this and said it was good. Likewise they intentionally provide food so late. I don't know why. And I checked on kitchen it was like very bad. Bad bad experience ever. I don't recommend anyone to stay in this Hotel.

People, if you wanna explore the nature and finest retreats, I am gonna say you are in the wrong place. Please reconsider your decision to enjoy your stay in the pathetic hotel. If you are an expertly travelled tourist you can find the manners they give to you during your stay and feel the exact bad vibe from the attendees. Why take this resort even if some other resorts provide an even more comfortable stay by all means? Poovar is an amazing place you can see the beauty everywhere in poover but please not this hostel….. Room good Service is very very bad Bachelors, please be aware.. Ps: The 24-hour pool is just hype…
