Spent the night here with three friends. The weather was very cold at night but we were given heaters which heated the huge rooms quickly. Spare blankets were provided in the rooms. We went on a 6am safari, with blankets provided by the hotel, and were given coffee before setting off. When we returned at 11, fresh omelettes and toast were prepared for us. Staff were very helpful, food was good and we enjoyed our stay very much. Would happily stay there again!

Slimy. The dinner was exceptional (Indian buffet). And the hotel garden is beautiful. Being able to sit outside by the fire with a beer meeting the other guests was a joy. Sadly that's where the positives end. When we arrived our rooms were freezing and the heating did not work. We asked for a heater and got a broken one. We asked for blankets and got none. After this the service only got worse. They were generally rude, intrusive, promised everything and delivered nothing, and naturally asking for tips all the while. I guess you can't only have positive experiences in a country, but I'm very sad it happened here! Going on a 6am Safari when you've slept in the cold and only had cold showers isn't ideal.

What a horrible stay. We booked into this hotel and when we got into our room. We noticed a damp smell and a wet patch on the wall. We informed reception immediately, who came to the room with some air freshener and said it should be ok now!!! I stated the room feels damp and the bed feels a bit damp. They said it wasn't damp it was just a bit cold ( they said it was a historical leak, however the wall was still wet). So they gave us 2 small electric heaters! This didn't help. I then inspected the bed as it didn't seem clean at all. The bed had short black hairs inside and stains. The pillows were yellow and smelly. The manager also states they have hot water 24 hours a day. They dont!! We had to ask for hot water twice while we stayed. We were due to stay 2 nights however decided to check out after our 1st night. Overall the hotel needs a major clean, a possible change in manager as he is just really pushy and aggressive and just wants your money.
